{Countdown to 2011.....}

I love this idea of giving your guests a CD of the years favorite songs.

Number your champagne glasses from 1-10 and have each guest call out their number and let the countdown begin.

Make your own party blowers to match your party decor. I love this! Check out the tutorial at Utterly Engaged.

Taking a few days off to spend with my family. I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday.

{Last Minute Decorating}

Pull a few sprigs off your tree and fill a clear ornament. Attach a ribbon and these are ready to hang or fill a bowl or basket with them.

Cut a wreath shape out of cardboard and attach family photos with double sided tape. I like the idea of using old Christmas photos for this.

Whip up a fast garland with some pretty ribbon, cardstock and a computer/printer or rubber stamps/ink. Don't have any mini ornaments to attach to the bottom? That's ok. The garland alone is cute enough!

Filling some clear or white glass vases and bowls with red candy or candy canes is all you need to add some holiday cheer to a mantel or tabletop.

Frame a page out of an old "Twas the Night Before Christmas" storybook. For an extra dose of Christmas, spray paint the frame red.

A mirror and a glass paint marker is all you need to add some JOY.

Almost everyone has a Scrabble game laying around that can be used to send a nice message to your holiday guests.

A basket, empty wine bottles (or any type of bottle or vase), and some branches from your yard will help you create this cute Christmas vignette.
